Introduction

This page consolidates the documentation of my homelab. What originally started as a collection of technical notes has evolved into a centralized knowledge base — a kind of “second brain” for infrastructure, automation, security concepts, experiments, and best practices.

On average, the content is updated weekly.

As visible here, this documentation is currently powered by BookStack. BookStack runs inside an LXC container on a Proxmox node hosted in my home environment.

Privacy Notice

I have reduced the use of tracking technologies as much as possible. In theory, at most two analytics tools may be used:

  • Umami
  • Matomo

Both are fully self-hosted and operate within my own cluster. No external tracking services are embedded, and there are no cookie banners. Data minimization and transparency are a priority here.

Principles

This documentation follows a few clear principles:

  • Linked URLs should not lead to dead ends. If a 404 error occurs, a short message is sufficient — I will address it as quickly as possible.
  • The content is not generated by AI. AI may be used for proofreading.
  • If you discover errors, you can reach me through various channels. See the Feedback section below.

This project is privately funded and free of advertising. Operating it requires time and resources.
